More details to come, but here are the nuts and bolts:

Birmingham Twestival

  • When: 4-7 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011
  • Where: Parkside Cafe, 4036 5th Avenue South, Birmingham (across from Avondale Park)
  • What: A great opportunity to relax, have a drink and chat with Twitter users from across the Birmingham area, all while helping a great cause.
  • Why: We hope to raise more than $1,000 to help the United Way of Central Alabama support Imagination Library, a fantastic program that provides free monthly books to children across the region.
  • How you can help: Spread the word! Tell your friends, coworkers and fellow Twitterers to come out and help make a difference in our community.

The Birmingham event is proudly sponsored by Luckie & Co., which will be matching up to $500 in donations the night of the Twestival. Please join us for a good time benefitting a great cause!
